This was taken from a walk in the fields local to me in rural Northamptonshire. A warm sunny end of summer day, with the corn ready for harvesting and wildflowers growing at the edge. Later on in the day, deer will come out from the trees in the background and roam freely. Painted in acrylic on board with elements of the corn and flowers picked out in gold to give a multilayered shimmer when viewed from different angles.
