Biography
I love to paint!! In fact, art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always painted. For years, I worked in supporting and promoting Arts and Culture – in fact I am the lady who masterminded the first Glasgow Art Fair and many other initiatives that helped put Glasgow on the map as the 'City of Visual Arts' back in 1996. And then there were management roles in Glasgow Museums, Hopetoun House and VisitScotland. But that was many moons ago: fast forward a few years, and I’ve given up the day job and started painting full time. Over the years I attended courses at Glasgow School of Art and studied drawing and painting at the University of Strathclyde, where I gained an Open Studies Certificate in Applied Arts. I’m proud to say that I was awarded a certificate of Special Recognition from the online Gallery 'Light Space and Time', a Bronze Award in an international web art competition and a Runners Up Award in an online challenge to paint a seascape. Several of my works are in private collections across Scotland and in London, Cumbria, Brussels, Los Angeles and New Zealand. I paint beautiful views, scenes and flowers and my aim is always to capture the mood, the light and the color of places that capture my attention. I love the beauty of nature and through my painting, I aim to share that beauty with others. I also paint gardens - or a favorite spot in a garden - on a commission basis.

Amazing!!!! From start to finish Pamela has been a true delight to deal with. Communication has been easy and she has kept me up to date with progress throughout. Pamela painted an image of a place I have stayed in many times onto a box canvas. There was good communication regarding progress. The artwork was well packaged and protected. Delivery was timed perfectly. Would highly recommend.

I commissioned a painting of the spot we were engaged in Scotland as an anniversary present for my husband. Pamela did an absolutely beautiful job and went out of her way to drive and take photos of the spot (which I wasn't even 100% sure of) and offer me options as to what aspects I would like included. Her communication was excellent and she kept me informed right along the way. I commissioned the painting early Nov and it was completed and posted to New Zealand in time for my anniversary in mid-Jan as promised. Couldn't recommend her more.
