'Portrait of a dog called Jethro'

MyArtBrief commission. Mixed media on A3 paper with support. I used coloured pencils on the dog and acrylics for the background. To create this peice it took roughly between two - three weeks. To make this as realistic as possible, I focused on different textures in the fur, grass and the bushes. I used a stippling effect as well as small brush strokes to capture that using acrylics.
