This family portrait was created with only limited photo reference images. I was asked to put the members together on a bench with the youngest boy sitting on both the mother and fathers laps. Materials I used was coloured pencils for a majority of the drawing but I also used alkyd oil paints for the background. This was my first time painting landscapes and I really enjoyed the experience. This was drawn at a large scale so it did take roughly between 5 -6 weeks to complete.
