This angelic and maternal female figure came about via a free flow of imagination. Starting with a portrait drawing inspired by a photograph I decided she had a nurturing mother nature quality about her. Daisies are symbols of purity and innocence, they are also the sacred flower of the Norse Goddess Freya who is associated with love, beauty , fertility and sex so the idea further grew from these symbols.
