Commissioned portrait of Alex Johnson the first female Chief Officer in South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service history -and one of the first nationally. The image painted shows Alex in undress uniform, relaxed and comfortable in her position with, to her right, a view of Sheffield city centre through the blinds. SYFRS is featured on the front of the desk and on the desk next to her is a piece of old fire service equipment of sentimental value to her.
