This kinetic sculpture was an entry in the Brighton Gin Art Prize 2015, and is based around a Brighton Gin bottle, surrounded by pieces of seaglass and mounted on a wooden plinth which I painted in a pebble design to represent the beach. The bottle is decorated with papercut fronds of seaweed and coral, and a flock of hand-crafted seabirds fly through the air above on a cluster of wires, which rotate freely when touched.
