Needle felted Cockapoo Portrait. I am needle felt artist and I use wool as my paint and a special barbed needle to stab the wool onto the background material. This process takes many hours. I work from a customers photo and recreate the Dog or animal to be as near realistic as possible. This is in an 10 x 8 canvas in 12 x 14 frame. The background is 100% wool felt. This portrait shows all the variations of the fur colours and textures.
