This painting was inspired by a mixture of elements I saw on a cloudy day as it began to rain. I was captivated by the stunning clouds and the light that shone between them. Then a thought came to my mind how wonderful it would look if their was a red umbrella in the foreground with a woman standing underneath it. I couldn't wait to get home and paint what I saw in my mind. This painting has been signed in the corner and is wired at the back ready to be hung onto the wall.
