Biography
I am a professionally trained painter working primarily in oil on canvas. I was born and educated in Odesa, where I received a classical art education that formed the foundation of my approach to figurative painting and portraiture. From an early age, I participated in exhibitions and international art projects, which shaped my understanding of painting as both a technical craft and a deeply personal form of expression. Over the years, my practice has continued to evolve through observation, reflection, and close attention to the human presence. My work today focuses on portraiture and figurative painting, where I am interested not only in likeness, but in atmosphere, inner state, and emotional depth. I approach each portrait as an individual collaboration, allowing time for the image to develop through a layered, thoughtful process. I am currently based in the UK and work with private clients on commissioned portrait projects.
