Biography
PORTRAIT PAINTER & HOUSE PORTRAIT ARTIST. I've over 30 year's experience working as a commercial illustrator, exhibiting artist, and portrait painter, working principally in watercolour. I'm a regular exhibitor with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Society of Graphic Fine Art - of which I'm an Associate Member - with my work shown in the Mall Galleries, Anise Gallery, and Menier Gallery in London, as well as nationally. I'm a representational artist, my principal interest being in painting portraits - be this the human figure or architecture. I also work in charcoal / conte crayon.

An amazing achievement. The brief was to do a face from composite as the subject was wearing a mask at the time, due to Covid. Sally was in constant touch when doing the initial sketches, and open to making changes. The resulting portrait is a wonderfully colourful rendition of a young man in full ceremonial uniform, but with his face uncovered. Swiftly finished and sent off, it was only a few weeks in the making. Thank you, Sally.
