Biography
Conor is a self-taught illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. His work focuses on hand-drawn pen illustrations, with a penchant for intricacy and attention to detail. Despite a keen interest for drawing from an early age, it wasn't until Conor finished his degree in Biology that he once again took up his pen and began drawing seriously, and he hasn't looked back since. Conor has a huge amount of respect for realism art, however it takes a different type of talent and creativity altogether to create something that shows everyday objects and creatures in a different way - so Conor's work is all about trying to combine the two, in order to produce pieces of art that are both technically impressive, yet unique and thought-provoking in their concept. If there's one thing Conor loves about working as an artist, it's the almost limitless scope of what art can be applied to, and the variety of projects that have sprouted from this. Connor could not have been more helpful in developing a really special 18th birthday present for our Star Wars mad son! The recipient was very specific about what he required - and Connor was extremely receptive to this and carefully took note of his preferences. In many on-line discussions about the content, Connor appeared to take a real interest in this commission and made it feel to us as though it mattered to him as much as it did to us. All in all a very positive experience - and we would recommend working with Connor. The final piece of artwork did not disappoint either!
