Biography
Despite living in land-locked Leicestershire, Bob has a passion for all things coastal and communicates this through his art with its emphasis on seascapes and beach scenes. In the last year, trips to The Gower Pensinsular, North Yorkshire and East Anglia have provided Bob with inspiration for a series of works in acrylic and oil on canvas that convey a strong sense of place. Bob has been painting since the early nineties, working from his own original photographs. Bob initially covered a wide range of subjects but has been focusing recently on creating atmospheric seascapes and depictions of the British coast, working mainly in acrylic or oil but occasionally, for his own pleasure, watercolour.
